My Story Unfolding
t the age of ten I was in a traumatic bicycle accident. This near-death experience shook me. The healing process was both physical and psychological. As I replaced my story of victimhood with one of resilience, I slowly worked up the courage to get back on my bike again.

was a teenage romantic. I fell madly in love with books, little worlds comprised of complex characters and emotional depth within their pages. I identified my empathic powers through reading and cultivated them in my real-world relationships.

y twenties were shaped by teaching and learning in academic settings. I studied English as an undergrad as well as a graduate student, mastering narrative analysis and the essay writing process. I was a big nerd! I honed her skills as a reader, writer, and editor during this decade of my life.

n my thirties I had an awakening. After nearly ten years of teaching, I was called toward an entirely different approach to education: coaching. I discovered how powerful it is to become a student of yourself and of life. My passion for psychology, along with my need for deeper self-care and autonomy, led me down this path. Doing this work, I've been in integrity with myself and I help people of all ages and backgrounds find integrity in their lives too.

ow, I'm entering my fourth decade of life, I’ve become a mother and expanded my business. My birth story was profound and transformative, further informing the true power of narrative in my own life. My sweet daughter is named Runa, which means “secret myth” in Gaelic.
